On May 18, I was informed that our case is complete but they were waiting to hear back from the US Embassy in Amman Jordan to set up my husbands interview. Does anyone know how long this will take and how far in advance they are going to set his interview? I have read some of the stories on here and I have to admit....some of them have me a little freaked out. Is there anything we can do to completely avoid having to go through further administrative processing?

:(

It took us about two months from case closed until appointment date. Try not to freak out about AP, it is part of being from MENA. Hopefully you won't have to endure any AP. If you do, there is the internal embassy AP, inwhich they veryify your information and there is the name checks in Washington DC. The name checks is done after the embassy approves you.

I wish y'all the best of luck and an easy interview.

Oh, also I wanted to say welcome to VJ. Come visit in the MENA forum as well.
