Hi,

I have a Chinese friend who will be having this interview in Shanghai. Does anyone have experience with the actual interview? What is it like? I see some red flags are not having sufficient ties to the home country and having a GF/BF in the country one is going to. Any other stumbling blocks? Also, I think my friend would be a little worried about her listening/speaking comprehension. Anyone gone through the experience?

in china it's just a matter of money. the standard method of arranging the appearance of such is to go to a bank and get a fictitiuos letter of deposit credit indicating that he has X number of yuan in the bank. it will cost him a fee of about 3-4% in hard cash to get the bank to lie for him. seen it done many times.
