Adding my case here. I forgot some of my dates, so I only wrote the months. It has been a stressful journey due to my very contested divorce. I would appreciate all the helps from members here.

Thank you so much! Surprisingly, I did not receive RFE before interview. My divorce was done one week before the interview so I brought my divorce decree to the interview to update the case directly.

Hello anyone here has applied in October at VSC

My card expires Oct 6th and I havent heard anything yet

My attorney is asking me to wait. He hasnt clearly told me the next steps.

I am concerned if I decide to react in September, will it be too late.?

Anyone knows when is the right time to make an info pass and make an appointment.?

How long to get an appointment and how long till I receive the extension on I751

Again, I am hoping this is done soon and I dont have to deal with this headache.....

I called the # on RFE today since 60 days passed. A tier two officer told me it's still being processed, put a service request and told me some update may come in mail 2-4 weeks or I should call again with the confirmation number.

Could anyone share advice on my awkward situation? My lease is ending end of August, and my petition pending- there is no indication whether I'm getting interviewed or not. I personally prefer to leave the area but I can stick around till the process ends if it's worth it. If I move I'll be under CSC and different local office. But I don't know if it will last another 2 months, or much longer!

I'm VSC 2015 June filer, and naturally a bit more nervous coz it's a divorce waiver.

I sent my RFE about 90 days ago, called 30 days ago, got a vague response with no promised timeline. I'm doing infopass this Friday 9/9. If there is no indication where the case is moving, I can start writing to senator correct? (90+ days with no rfe response should be equal to outside normal processing time).

Nothing yet on my end. I called in yesterday and pressured them to connect me to a tier 2 officer. They said they were busy with call volume and took my details and said someone will contact me in 3-5 days.

I went ahead and scheduled an infopass on 9/21, the earliest available appointment. My license expires oct 6 so i would need to do this anyway. I have a feeling they are going to interview me

What city have you scheduled your infopass? let me know how it goes.

Hi Monty2211, I got my RFE about 9.5 months after I submitted petition. I'm Vermont too, so you should expect something soon (hopefully a direct approval and none of this nonsense!). It's usually better to call at 8am so calls get transferred (in the afternoon the reps would complain that they are swamped).

I scheduled infopass at Boston. The response to my service request doesn't specify if I'm in line for an interview. I hope not..it would be repelling to think i have to go over every previous marriage/divorce detail again but at this point I would be DELIGHTED to get an interview notice to see it done.

I went to an info pass appointment today. The officer initially told me I was approved, and I showed him a service response request dated 8/18 saying my case was sent to Boston field office and pending. He was confused why I wasn't scheduled an interview now that it was in field office. He said he was going to get the files and give me an answer, and after half hour sitting and waiting, he told me my case was sent back to Vermont Center and it showed approved/card in production on his end. I haven't got the approval letter or seen any changes on online status and I'm only 50% relieved!

Key takeaways from infopass experience though: 1. Log right at midnight to see appointments otherwise it can be gone within minutes. 2. It was great to have a Friday afternoon appointment because it was slow and customers were few. I lounged around for an hour and half!

Attaching my file list in case it can be helpful to anyone:

Original submission: I-751, payment, copy of green card; affidavit of me, of ex, of rabbi whose classes we took together and of marriage therapist; couple therapy notes; final divorce decree; 2013 joint federal and state returns; joint checking accounting with transaction history; health insurance letter, explanation of benefits letters sent to marital home address; 20 photos. **I re-sent proof of meeting regularly before marriage in K-1 petition which is NOT needed. **I sent my income verification which was NOT needed.

RFE: 1. second affidavit I wrote explaining financial situations (ex bought the condo before meeting me, my credit issues coming from student loan default) 2. Verizon agreement 3. Car papers of the car my ex-bought and financed without my name because of my credit score 4. Hospital records with ex' name as emergency contact 4. 2014 MA 1099-HC form showing insurance coverage 5. Dentist statement showing ex as guarantor 6. Quest diagnostic invoices 6. selected email correspondences during marriage 7. individual psychotherapy notes with reference to marital probs 8. Copies of facebook and weibo (chinese microblog) photos **I forgot to include my first paper driver's license that had marital home address.
