Hello,

I sent my i751 divorce waiver back in August 2012, after waiting for a long time, more than a year, I went to my interview in November 2013. The interview went pretty well, i think. The officer told me he will email the results to my lawyer in less than a week, and he even told me that everything was ok and i should not have any problems. It has been almost 3 months and i am still waiting. My lawyer emailed the officer but no luck, he has not replied yet. I called the 800 number and they told me they will contact my local office because the time has expired. Should i be worried?? I don't want to be denied.

Hello,

No decision yet. I called uscis and inquired about my case and they sent me a letter saying that my case is still processing and i will receive a response soon. It has been almost a month of that letter and no decision yet.

Am hoping to get a positive response, once my marriage was bona fide and I have a pretty stable professional life in this country now.

29 March 2012 - Day 24 - CASE STATUS ONLINE: On March 29, 2012, the Post Office returned the notice we last sent to you as undeliverable.(NOA`S)
03 April 2012 - Day 29 - CASE STATUS ONLINE: On April 03, 2012, the Post Office returned the notice we last sent to you as undeliverable.(NOA`s)
13 April 2012 - Day 39 - Received NOA`s for I-485, I-130 and I-765 and also received appointment letter for Biometrics for May, 08.

Of course you will get a positive response. I see no reason why not. I filed mine just a few days ago. Used to be very nervous because I was no longer married to the USC petitioner. Yet, now I think it was just paranoia. The law says you can then yes, you can.

Let's be positive and don't be scared by ourselves or by other people.

I sent in my i751 divorce waiver on Feb 28, my divorce is pending, I filed for divorce in February but my GC expired on March 6.

In CA divorce takes at least 6 months, I know I will receive an RFE for the divorce decree but hopefully not an interview!! *fingers crossed*

2/14/14- Filed for divorce

2/28/14- Sent I751 packet

3/3/14- NOA1

3/5/14- Check cashed & NOA1 received

3/11/14- Received Bio appt letter (for 3/28)

3/21/14- Bio done early

ROC (Divorce Waiver)- CSC

2/14/14- Filed for Divorce

2/28/14- Sent I751 Packet (divorce pending)

3/3/14- NOA1 (receipt date)

3/5/14- Check Cashed & NOA1 Received in the Mail

3/6/14- GC Expired

3/11/14- Received Biometrics Appt. Letter (for 3/28)

3/21/14- Biometrics (done 1 week early)

5/20/14- RFE received for divorce decree/more evidence

MY Temporary GC expired on Nov 2013.

Filed for I 751 on NOV 14th and NOA date was NOV 15th

Biometrice done on Dec 15th.

My divorce got finalized and received Divorce decree on Jan 3rd.

Its alomst 6 Months and I have not heard anything, No RFE, nothing at all.

Just waiting and hoping for some action

4-18-14 APPROVED!!!!

23 months after I filed my ROC, interview and two RFEs after, I got my approval letter. The card will be printing in 3 - 6 months.

I have seen people say there is something wrong with an applicant if it takes to long. Not so. Some cases do really fall between the cracks. I am an outstanding citizen, educated, never have been in any kind of legal issues and me and my ex husband have a 3 year old. Yet it took almost 2 years to approve.

I hope this gives the next person hope. You're day is coming. Hang in there
