Hey Guys,

I am filing my waiver on January 18th, can we add me to the list...

Also, here is my list of evidence, does it look suffice? This is copied from my cover letter I am sending:

Attached please find my petition to remove conditions on residence consisting of the following documentation:

- Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence

- Personal Check with enclosed fee of $590

- Copy of my USCIS Permanent Resident Card, Front and Back

- Copy of Divorce Decree

- Copy of joint US tax return for 2008, 2009

- Copy of our W2s for 2008 and 2009

- Copy of paystubs

- Copy of Electric, Water and Gas and Qwest and Verizon bills for 2009 and 2010

- Copy of joint bank statements at Bank of America for end of 2008, 2009 and 2010

- Copy of Credit Card Statements and Credit Reports (BestBuy, Capital One)

- Copy of Health insurance with UnitedHealthCare

- Copy of Progressive Car Insurance policy and Drivers licenses

- Copy of School Records for Elijah

- Sworn Affidavits

- Photographs from 2009 and 2010

Looks good. Is Elijah your joint child? if so, include his birth certificate. Also a personal statement will likely help.

Okalian,

He is not a joint child. He was from another relationship that my ex-wife was in previous to ours. But I included the school records because I am listed as step father emergency contact.

In regards to the personal statement what would you recommend, I really have been having trouble figuring out what format I should use for that.

Your evidence looks great. My ex-wife (who initiated the divorce) wrote an affidavit giving background to the relationship from its incipient stages to the end. According to my lawyer, that helped. He advised me not to write any sort of personal statement in my cover letter presenting my evidence other than: "my wife no longer wished to be married to me because we had different goals in life. She wanted to move overseas and I wished to stay in the USA." My ex-wife's cover letter was pretty thorough, so, I didn't want to expand on the obvious.

Everything looks great. Best of luck to you and I'm sure you'll get your greencard!

Hello Everyone,

Could you please add my name to the tracking timeline. My case number begins WAC and my biometrics were taken in California so I'm sure this is the service center I'll be using. My first NOA (I-797) following filing in July 2010 was 8/6/2010. My Biometrics and the last touch were taken 9/3/2010.

I feel I'm behind the timeline somewhat so I hope to hear something soon.

Thank you! It was 7/23/10 for the sent date. Based upon this data I'd be expecting to get a touch in the next 4-6 weeks. FYI, I have an extension cover letter and the card expiration is 2011. I hope to be approved by then.

That is excellent that you are still able to communicate with ex as I'm sure she wants you to be successful in your removal of conditions. My lawyer basically said to let the evidence speak for itself. Your evidence is quite robust so expounding on a personal statement is most likely not necessary. Have your ex-wife write an affidavit or personal statement attesting the events that led to the separation and eventual divorce. What's important (from my lawyer's mouth) is to have her write something like: "although our relationship did not work out in the end, I wish (your name) all the very best in the future and will cherish our many happy memories together." My cover letter was very spartan that gave basic information and only one a few words describing the situation without getting into too much detail.

Looks like you'll be sending your packet out today?! Best of luck. If it's any indication from when I got my greencard, this whole process should last between 3-4 months! It will be a wonderful spring present for you!
