any good news? had someone been approved?

Not me, it's been over 5 months and haven't hear anything. But I am not expecting to hear anything for another month or two. Many who applied before me haven't heard.

It's been a while. I am back with a heavy heart... sad report. Never thought in my wildest dreams my application for removal of conditions will be with a waiver.

Oh well...

So... has anyone tried to investigate approval/denial rate for I-751 application with joint filing waiver due to divorce?

Wondering if it's worth it to get a lawyer...

Thanks.

I think as long as your marriage was genuine, you have no reason to worry. I don't think you need a lawyer. I hired a lawyer and quickly regretted it. I would have done a lot better job in gathering evidence if I had relied on this forum instead of a lawyer. This forum is a much better guide. Just submit as much evidence as possible. Research this forum and see what other people have submitted.

Exactly.

I did hire a lawyer because I did not have much evidence, even though our marriage was genuine, so I was afraid of doing it all by myself.

Plus, I had an interview, and having my lawyer next to me made me feel much more confident.

But as long as you have enough evidence, you have nothing to worry about and it will be approved.

Good Luck!

Hello Waiver Filers!

I come with good news! I was approved on 4/16/2015 after having filed for a 2nd time. Since my divorce wasn't finalized when they reviewed my case and I didn't have it by the time I had to respond to RFE, my petition was denied and my status terminated. I researched, got various opinions and followed the advice of fellow VJ members…I re-filed as soon as the divorce decree was in my hands! Thankfully after 6 months, I was finally approved. I received an e-mail and text letting me know and today I received a letter in the mail with the same news: APPROVED. I never hired a lawyer, I have gone through my entire immigration journey on my own (I-130, NVC, I-601, I-751)…just God and the wonderful forums I was blessed to come across…VJ and Immigrate2US members have given me more than they know…I'm forever grateful to everyone that has helped me along the way! :)
