I think the Bishop may have been overblessed from the cup of the spirit when I created my last login...hence the loss of memory :bonk::rofl:

Padre, I had no idea that you were a member of the Order of St. Vitus. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: I try to exhaust myself lest I awake witha clear head and a fully functional memory. There are some things that I want to forget.

We have to let go of things...through loss of memory or not...

I was talking to a Hindu person once about 5 years ago and I was telling them about what a hard time I had during my late 20s/early 30s. I then remember telling this person that even though I had the 'general memory' of it being a difficult time, I could no longer really remember any of the real details of what made it so difficult. That person then told me that this 'losing of memory over time' is a gift from God, less we dwell on the past too much and fail to live in the present. I remember how that struck a very deep chord in me...and resonated beautifully with the the unknown graces of God...his release from our woes...

I am in a lighthearted mood tonight...feeling 'love'...and 'happiness'... Thats a good thing, because sometimes as a Bishop it seems like I have to go through a lot of 'heavy discussions' with people...but, I am very simple and so...it gets tiresome at times. :unsure:

That's what I ask HIM for every single day. You are right about HIS mercy, HE does indeed make us forget. How does the saying go, "time heals all wounds." Since HE is time itself then it is HIS work that dulls the pain that the memory of our loss engenders. I am healing, this I know, what HIS plan is for me, however, I know not. Thank you for reminding me and strengthening my resolve.

I know. I do not get into the Council of Nicea or the 2nd Eccumenical Council or the Codex Syriacus or any of that unless there is some reason to. The Barnabean/Pauline arguments can get to be real annoying, too. I prefer to post music videos and act silly. By the way, I was digging through my closet and I found a pair of my old football shoes, size 14 Nikes, they looked to be in good shape. Apparently, I've got a lovely pair o' cleats. :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

I love to read the councils and encyclicals...but only in silence. I've never much cared for debate, though I am not bad at it I just don't care much for it. Anyways...I mean, I'm a lightweight Bishop so I can only imagine how tired Saint Thomas Aquinas must have become...but, he knew the remedy for sorry and exhaustion and expressed it in these words, which I have taken to heart as a literal 'chill pill' :whistle::thumbs:

However...I did have to modify it a bit to fit me particular situation/style: “Sorrow can be alleviated by good sleep, a bath hot shower and a glass big ol' bottle of wine”. :blush::rofl:
