sounds awesome Nagi

Well honey, not if you are the one standing over the hot grill in 90 degree heat and burning your fingers on the freakin @zz corn.     0ne day, Cinc0 will come over with his sledge hammer.

John , you are welcome as long as you bring me a carry out.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Gumby got us a used A/C unit from some friend of his. It is over 85 degrees in this house and I do not expect this tiny unit to make a dent until tomorrow morning.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

The dinner was a hit. Gumby said the kabobs were fantastic and the corn was the sweetest I think I've ever had. The rice was good and I grilled some mighty big mushrooms. We had melon and peaches for desert.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Because the Blessed One doesn't swing a sledge hammer. Nothing says you appreciate the hard work of the hostess like destroying the instrument of her oppression.

Fair enough brother 5, your drift is caught. Yet, the moment, the posting, signified no opression. And, after all...if we don't live in this moment then we fail to live, would you agree?

My blessings upon you and the thread,

B-Ji

One trait of C4C is perpetual depression, with only condolenceses and no real help. I guess we're just BB, but...

I agree. You are arguing the relativistic concept of simultaneity, albeit in an altered, qualitative context. I didn't mean to suggest that you were endorsing oppression or acceding to that jactitation about a woman's place being in the kitchen. i was only commenting on Nagi's deplorable conditions.

Living in the moment is indeed the only way to live, we have to live for today.

Blessings to you and the thread.:innocent: :innocent: :innocent:

Awww, Bishop, I love you to death, but, I believe in a positive attitude at all times, no matter how dark the situation. Life is meant to be LIVED. With no excuses.

Big words. I'm not arguing your thesis. I'm saying that Nagi enjoyed the evening, and your saying she should not have.

Blessed Val, never has this been more visible than through you. The Bishop rains blessings on those who bless themselves...such as you have...

Still my favourite philosopher, no wonder I married her.:luv: :luv: :luv: Of course, if I do what I did tonight, my darling Wifey, kindly slap the back of my head until I wise up. Bustin' my backside on the bike for 47 minutes (just in case I slack off for the last two minutes, dontcha know) with no fan and 95F heat dressed only in a pair of thick track pants, a close-knit shirt and heavy wool socks because I called the Fredster a wuss for being afraid of a little heat and humidity. Peeling my shirt off and being barely able to stand up in the shower afterwards was just priceless. :( :( :(
