Last night I left a bottle of Michelob in the freezer! This morning, it hadn't exploded, but was bursting at the cap...ready to detonate!

I think I saved it in the nick of time, and now have it warming up outside on the deck!

One of the places we went was Lindisfarne or Holy Island. That's where the gospels were kept until Henry 8th had the place destroyed and removed them.

this is where they were kept. the guy with me (he used to be a tour guide) told me that angled arch is the room they were kept in. the arch was a very advanced feature because it was done at an angle.

5 - I do take bad pics but I delete them I think I took 100 pics over the weekend and kept about 70.

Too bad we can't do that with our memories. I just want to see some pics that show the looks on the faces of the locals when you go barreling down the highway on the wrong side. :rofl:

my neighbor agreed to go with me so I wouldn't have to drive. when he was younger he did coach tours so he was really handy on the trip. he said he passed his driving test in a double decker bus!

I was given my first 'sink or swim' driving lesson in England. The guy I was with just gave me the keys and said, "No way I'm driving!". So, I had to do all the driving. It was dangerous for others, at first! To make matters worse, we had a stick-shift...so when you're on the opposite side of the road, and opposite shifting, it can truly be difficult. It took me a couple weeks to really get comfortable at it...now I'm an ambidextrious driver

same with me! I tried it the other day but the combination of the shifter on the opposite side and driving on the opposite side was too much for me to handle
