Police in Orlando, Fla., are searching for the drivers of three vehicles who ran over a pedestrian early Monday and did not stop to help, according to Local 6 News.

Investigators said the victim was first hit by the driver of a silver Dodge Durango on Orange Blossom Trail near Silver Star Road at around midnight.

"The impact left the victim's body in pieces," Local 6's Jacquie Sosa said.

While the man's body was in the street, two more cars ran over the man and no one stopped to help.

What the hell is going on in Orlando?

Orlando Breaks Homicide Record

A man who was shot to death inside a car early Tuesday became the city's 37th homicide victim of the year, breaking a record set in 1982, according to police.

Investigators said the unidentified man died in a car off Central Boulevard and N. Dollins Avenue near Lorna Doone Park at about 2 a.m.

Officers said someone drove up beside the driver and opened fire.

maybe humanity really is just a self absorbed a$$hat thinking only of self. Alligators dont wear clothes.. and I didnt see in article where the guy was neked.. and then.. havent seen a pink alligator either.

either way... the end result is still the same.. someone dead.. and 3 vehicles of ppl are not gonna come up and claim they were there.

That is so sad but unfortuantely I think it is a sad reflection of the times we live in, no matter where you are.

I think it is a far less caring society now

Ever notice if you trip over in a busy city like London or NYC, hardly anybody will check to see if you're all right. I saw a homeless guy once lying outside the Starbucks on Tottenham Court Road. That afternoon when we went by there again, there was an ambulance loading the guy into the back. Apparently he'd been lying there dead all day - noone had called attention to it because the sight of a homeless guy sleeping rough isn't all that unusual in London.

A month or two ago, a guy running for the train in Penn Station got too close to me as he tried to run by and managed to catch his arm in my bag strap. Suffice to say he went over like he'd been pole-axed by a giant, knocking into a small asian lady who he sent literally flying. B*stard didn't even bother to see if the woman was ok, he was too absorbed in trying to get his train.

My eldest son is diabetic and had a hypo in our small village once....as he lay unconscious on the pavement ppl just stepped over him....the woman who called the ambulance saw this going on as she went over to help him. The medics who came said they hear of it all the time these days...ppl don't want to get 'involved'....

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
