Crossed eyed reading about the DS 156

I know y'all bug out having to re answer stuff but I am crossed eyed looking for this answer.

There is the online form of the DS 156 then there is the adobe form to be printed. Which one should my fiance do? Which is quicker of course. And with the Embassy wanting duplicates.....Am lost here.

DS-160 Online Form

Applicants applying for visas at the Embassy in London or the Consulate General in Belfast are required to complete the online DS-160. We will no longer accept the DS-156. Please follow this link for further information.

I think this is incorrect information. I could be wrong but unless everyone else is wrong and they too should fill out the ds 160 then I need to have the DS 156. And that is according to the site.

It seems you got the answer, but I'll double confirm for your piece of mind - since London considers the K-1 to be an immigrant visa, the DS-156 form is what you need!

DS-160 online is for nonimmigrants.

Our naturalization timeline
1/12/2015 - Application sent to Phoenix service center by USPS priority mail

1/14/2015 - Package received in Phoenix

1/16/2015 - NOA date (hard copy received 1/22)

1/20/2015 - Check cashed

2/09/2015 - Biometrics

2/11/2015 - In line for interview

3/28/2015 - Hard copy interview notice received

4/29/2015 - Interview at Chicago field office - Approved!!!

5/22/2015 - Oath ceremony - Now a US citizen!!!!!!

Thanks much for the confirmation. This was one that I just couldn't seem to find the answer, then somehow got pushed in the right direction and lucked out finally finding it.

The answer being,..... yes I need to have the DS-156. No I don't need the DS-160.

Further, the DS-156 is a online form that provides a scan code when printed out after filling it out for use at the embassy. So yes, the online form is the one we need to use.
