MOM LAST NAME WRONG AND CASE APPROVED

Hello! This is me again. I just found out that My mom information was wrong and the case was already approved. My mom is widow now and her ID information is different and her last name is with one T and it was with double. I was told to handle this with NVC since our case was already approved in California....Is anyone with this case???

yup - handle it at NVC, on the DS-230 submittal -

1. fill out the form with the correct name

2. write letter of attestation about the name change

3. show copies of new identity card, passport, showing the correct name

now, this will be 'in addition to' the original documents requirements for the DS-230.
