sounds like a myth

Religion is a myth.

actually IMO.. any religion that claims to know the absolute truth and all others are deluded... has the myth. must keep an open mind that maybe the other is right and accept that if/when it happens.. then there wouldnt be so much a$$hatery goin on in this world. believe what you can prove to yourself and if questioned on it.. prove your points and leave it at that... no need to force beliefs on others regardless of intentions.

What's the point of believing in a religion if you don't think that it is the absolute truth and everyone else is wrong?

Maybe God wanted people to have different religions? Maybe that's why there isn't just one.

yeah.. you can believe that you know the absolute truth and everyone else is just fackin stupid. ignore the whole point of .... you understood what you read wrong and are living the lie.

I stand by my statement because mankind is fallible and doesnt know everything there is to know... hence the idiocy that is being carried out.

I believe in my religion, also believe that it is correct. I do NOT believe that I have the lock on the truth and everyone else needs to know my truth. there is a huge difference.

 huh?

hahahahaaaaa... it read right before I swear :P

the fallacy being if someone utterly believes that they have lock on truth, are ignoring that they might be misinterpreting the original intent of what was written... therefore, the conclusion is based on preconcieved fallacy.

make more sense now?
