We signed some papers on a minister/friend's kitchen counter and then took them back to the courthouse. I'm going to have to work the sex kitten and stay-at-home mom things into the vows when we say them on an Australian beach next year. Enough of this going to work while he gets to stay home and play Xbox while the GC is being processed.

I know it wasn't as bad as some people's but it would sometimes take me 40 to 50 minutes to go 15 miles.. ugh

M-F I wake up at 5:30 am to leave at 6:50 am to arrive by 7:30 am or just after that. Then I leave shortly after 5 pm to get home after 6:15 pm most days to go to sleep at 8 pm to get up at 5:30 am and do it all again. I dislike waking up this early and I dislike the commute during the rush hours. I dislike getting paid less than $5 an hour. I really dislike that it cost me over $120 in gas a month. I also dislike when they want a date night and I feel obliged to watch the baby from 7:30 am till 10 or 11 pm or on my days off like Saturday and Sunday when I just want to rest and have my own life. I wouldn't work for this little pay or this many hours for anybody else but it's family and I get time with my niece now. At least it's some temporary work until I can find long term employment and there is dignity in having this job.

My job is sort of like giving birth. You forget how painful it was shortly after it is over. I'm on summer holidays, so currently, I love my job.

Normally I hate it because as one health magazine ranked it, it is the most stressful job in America - inner-city, public school teacher, and it really is like giving birth except you are having multiples and they are fighting you tooth and nail to not progress, they suck you dry, and they cry and whine and give you sh!t all day.

I'm working in the clinical trials lab; the majority of our patients have either failed traditional tx or have some weird-#### cancer that nobody knows how to treat. Our three year survival rate is something like 10%.

I'm VERY glad that I don't do direct patient-care and I have a lot of respect for you guys that do. Ya'all are angels.
