How much money do I need for the nvc costs?

09/16/2005 Filed K-1 at VSC

12/24/2006 Rec RFE

12/24/2006 Mailed back RFE

01/17/2006 K-1 diened due to lack of evidence we meet in person.

02/06 Hired immigration lawyer

03/24/2006 Left for Mexico to see my honey who had been gone since 09/16/2005

04/01/2006 Got Married

05/01/2006 VSC recieved I-130

05/17/2006 MSC recieved K-3

07/01/2006 Recieved RFE for K-3 IMBRA law

07/14/2006 Usps said MSC recieved package

07/25/2006 I-130 Transfered to California Service Center (????)

08/07/2006-Touched I-130

08/07/2006- I-130 Approved (99 days)

08/07/2006-K-3 Approved (83 Days)

There are no NVC costs. They hold it about 2-4 weeks (generally speaking), assign a case number, do some background checking, and send it to the Embassy. That's when you'll start to see costs.

I think there are some fees for the I-130 at the NVC, but not the I-129F (since it doesn't stay there very long). The I-130 is at the NVC for about 2 months and there is a $70 fee for one bill, but I'm not certain about any others.

06/23/2009: 10 Year Green Card arrived

TracyLuis you are right but so is Jersey girl. The K3 does not incur any fees at NVC level however has stated by TracyLuis there isthe $70 AOS ( affidative of Support) fee plus the $ 380 for the IV fee bill. I think I am right.......but someone will be by to stree this a little further also if ou check the guides it will tell you more.

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

Hey All. I did use the new I-129f and my notice date is 7-21-2006. No RFE's yet. Do you think they r issuing them to everyone? I posted a question before about the types of information they are looking for. I know every case is different, but can I get a little insight please? I have been :cry: crying my eyes out :crying: for the past 3-4 days and I am about to ask my dad to sponsor my husband, so I can quit my job and go to Morocco until this is all over. I can not take it!!!!!!!!! :(

Visa Delivered by DELBROS October 28th, 2006

October 30, 2006 Arrived back in LAX with Melinda, were going to Disneyland!!!

November 6th, 2006, Melinda and I are back home in Winslow Arizona loving Life!
