Good day. i would just like inquire some possible issues withe regards to the invitation my dad wants to send me. i have not seen my dad for 25yrs. now if i'm not mistaken. we've lost communications & thanks to the technologies now, thru friends frm US, i was able to locate & confirmed that he still ok & working, though of age already. we started communicating again & he mentioned that he wants to invite me to go there & somehow make up for a lost time.. my concerns are, 1. would it affect his legal status in the US (citizen) if in the event that i am not declared as his daughter?;

2. it is understood that i've to have a strong ties in the Phils for reasons that i will come back, what are the possibilities that somehow, somewhere...i would be granted a visitors visa just to be with my father? and at the same time visit my relatives in the US (all legal)?

pls. enlighten me on this. I would really appreciate it very much. Thanks.

umm well you could asked your dad to send you an invitation letter go to(website removed by request) for a sample invitation letter for B2 visa, or don't you want to come here in the US as an immigrant? because if your dad is a US citizen and youre a minor you had a claim for US citizenship":) and also if you're still a student there's a strong chance that the consul will grant you a visa:)

Thanks for your immediate reply. i actually just want a visit...1. i have my own business here (not a minor anymore nor a student) maybe in time if i had a chance, i'll pursue my masterals there. 2. i really just want to see my dad & since he is already 71 but still working, i'd rather take this chance to be with him & look arnd US maybe...again, thanks very much. other tha the invitation, what else, does he need to send me then?
