Packet 3 filing via email - questions

Hey all,

We've received Packet 3 (checklist and DS-230, of which Part I must be returned) physically from Warsaw.

We would like to email it back, but as it seems Part I is meant to be signed (can anyone confirm or deny this?), I think she will have to fill out the form, print it, sign and date it, then scan the DS-230, do the same for the checklist, then send them as scanned attachments via email.

The other option is no signature, grabbing a save-able version of the DS-230, filling it out, and sending it back, but still sending a scanned image of the (signed/dated) checklist.

Can anyone confirm what is expected for email submissions on these?

I think we're going with the first option, but if anyone has an experience here, please advise.

Sent on to Embassy: May 21 (in reality, May 24th)

Received at Embassy: May 26

Packet 3 received: June 1

Packet 3 returned: June 2

Packet 4 received: June 16 (emailed appointment date June 11)

interview: July 19th (Warsaw - APPROVED!!!)

POE: July 24th :)

We scanned everything and sent it back in JPEG format, as that seems to be what others have done, best we can tell.

Hopefully we'll see a response/confirmation back soon.
