Back on topic? Does anyone find it ironic that Booyah!, a bastion of statistical compilations from other countries, has finally decided to post something negative about happenings from his HOME country ?

LOL Yeah, did you see my first comment? Then I realized it was snarky and did not really contribute to the conversation, so I made a more on-topic one.

I am surprised BY did not get involved in this thread.

like a chip off the old block, he has hairy palms, too.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Le wow. How many times do I have to say it: I AM HAPPY FOR BOTH OF YOU.

Maybe people are jumping on YOU and not me because I don't have a reputation for being a misogynistic bully, whether or not your reputation is deserved. Your snark detector is set permanently to off -- you seem unable to discriminate between lighthearted banter (sexts) and more serious discussion (the nature of feminism). You have cast aspersion on my body. You treat the women who have come in here and tried to explain their issues with your view of feminism and femininity with disdain.

Just some bubbleheaded, female thoughts from me. Disregard them; they aren't up to your level of discourse.

I think there's a bit of self-delusion going on in Gary's argument - how else is it that someone can relativise a concept like feminism in such a way as to completely reverse the meaning and suggest that it is still the same.

It's a bit cracked.

You should find the local sunflower growers co-op, purchase directly from them (bring yer own containers). You might have to plug in to the local hippie/organic groups in yer area, though. I shifted over in May, because of diet. I use olive oil sparingly when cooking at high temps, cause it just doesn't handle high temps. Sunflower oil is great at high temps.

What a great idea, and yes, olive is no good for cooking at higher temps

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I'm sure he can justify it to himself because I'm only a woman and I only have one Masters, and from a ####### British university at that. :(

Can you believe it? After years of telling us how great Australia is, Booyah! finally decided to post some news with a negative slant on his home country. I'm so ecstatic for this, thinking (rightly or wrongly) that he's come to the conclusion to go back home and help with the reform (or reformation?). Yay Booyah! I'm so proud of you !!! IMO, this is a 180 from yer previous posting patterns.

It's all Germaine Greer's fault

I wonder if he really believes it or perhaps he's just sticking to his guns because he's stubborn and can't admit to being wrong.

Perhaps by capitalising the word CHOICE from now on, some clarity will come.

It's all Germaine Greer's fault

Seriously, I never really rated Germaine Greer all that much. I think she's one of those people who makes a living repackaging other people's work.
