AP-How long to arrive

So my husband's AP application has been touched everyday for like the past 4 or 5 days (except the weekend but it was even touched on Memorial Day!) and its already been two months since it arrived. I'm assuming it should be approved and mailed any day now. I'm just wondering how long did it take for your AP to arrive once it was approved? His EAD has already been approved but it says it could take up to 30 days, but I think they have to make a special card or something. Is it normal for them to look at the AP so much? And can it possibly be here soon? We want to go to Mexico on the 9th. Thanks in advance!

Once the AP is approved - most folks seem to get it in the mail within several days - maybe a week or so.

Thank you so much for the reply! :D The AP documents actually arrived yesterday afternoon without any change of status and the website still says its in the Initial Review stage. You never know with USCIS lol
