Will USCIS close the I-130 application filed for my husband (the benificiary) if I (US Citizen) go to jail? knowing that my sister would be the sponsor and the agent and not me.

I appreciate certain answers.

09/29/2010: I-864 AOS review fee ($88) online payment

09/30/2010: I-864 AOS status 'PAID', AOS package mailed out

10/15/2010: I-864 AOS package delivery

10/15/2010: I-864 AOS package completion

09/29/2010: DS-3032 Choice Of Agent emailed to NVC

10/06/2010: DS-230 IV fee ($404) online payment

10/07/2010: DS-230 IV status 'PAID', IV package mailed out

Depends on the crime (a few make you inelligible to petition), but probably not.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Depends on the crime (a few make you inelligible to petition), but probably not.

but the petition is pending already. and hmm, it's a felony (a strike). would that make me ineligible to petition? I mean my husband has no criminal record. they should mainly focus on him and not me, right?

"Should" has nothing to do with it. Unless you're (US Citizen) going to jail for a sex crime against a child or a terrorist act, your petition approval is not impacted by your criminal activity. Undoubtedly your current status will be discussed at the visa interview.
