Ok, I have paid the $400 online and now it says it is Paid. Can I now print out DS-230 or do I have to wait to get something in the mail??? And if I can print the form out what do I have to send with it? anything?

No you don't have to wait for anything else from them. You can print DS-230 and fill it up, or fill it up on the computer and then print it.

You will have to send several documents with it. Look up in the guides on this website, or refer to http://immigrantvisas.state.gov

Examples of Documents that go in the IV Package: Beneficiary's DOB Certificate, Police Clearance Certificates, Marriage Certificate

Thank You! I have read the information and am wondering if I need to send the photos of me as well? It is a little confusing because .that information is on the next page after the list of documents

Photos of the beneficiary need to be sent, not the petitioner.The IV package (with DS-230, documents and photos) is prepared for the beneficiary and he/she signs the DS-230.

ds-230 is signed by beneficiary, u can have them fill it up and sign/mail it to u. several things they need to send u. original/certified birth certificate and marriage certificate, 2 passport style photos, police certificate, passport bio page photocopy ds230 part I signed and II unsigned, photocopies of the whole packet. have the beneficiary mail the whole thing to u and u can mail it in.

2010-04-19: approved online wohoooo

2010-04-24: NOA2 hardcopy received

2010-04-26: gave 2 email addresses and assigned case #

2010-04-27: received/sent ds3032, AOS bill

2010-05-01: IV bill became available online/paid

2010-05-06: sent in DS230 package via express mail 9:07am

2010-05-11: NVC acknowledges the receipt of AOS on 05/05

2010-05-13: operator told me that AOS sent to supervisor for review....

2010-05-14: AVR changes to received the checklist letter response on 5/13

2010-05-23: RFE for original birth cert. (i did sent original).......arghhh

2010-05-24: BC under review by some department

2010-06-02: sent in original BC again and previous BC is still under review

2010-06-10: NVC recognizes BC into their system

2010-06-15: BC under review

2010-06-21: SIF!!!!!omggggg soo happy 57 days in NVC process

2010-06-28: interview on Aug. 19, 8am.

2010-08-19: interview went fine but he's put into AP :(

2011-01-09: almost 5 months in AP "still pending"

2011-02-06: 5 and half months and still counting......when is this torture going to end....

2011-02-20: 6 months still no answer..........

2011-03-08: more than 200 days passed in AP..................(

2011-03-24: visa has been issued today. hurayyyyyyyyyy finally wait is overrrr.

Don't forget to print DS-230 coversheet from the payment portal.

06-01-2021 - APPROVED

NVC
06-06-2021 - Recevied NVC case no. - case entered into nvc's system

06-08-2021 - AOS fee
06-08-2021 - IV fee
07-05-2021 - IV & AOS documents submitted online

07-19-2021 - received message from NVC about case can not be processed unless all civil documents are submitted (was missing police clearance)

08-12-2021 - submitted police clearance certificate - which was last document submitted to NVC

11-05-2021 - Case completed at NVC - DQ

03-31-2022 - Interview letter received

04-28-2022 - Interview date at mumbai embassy
