After sending in the I-130 does the NVC send me instructions on how to assemble their packet?

1. Is the DS-3032 going to be sent internationally to the beneficiary?

2. To make the 'barcode' which case number do they want?

3. What does this exactly entail of?: "All documents that pertain to the applicant’s petition are required, even if they were previously submitted to the CIS with the applicant’s petition."

4. Is the beneficiary going to mail all of this from overseas to the US?

Sorry if any of these are obvious, I've been reading so much these days that it's a bit overwhelming, thanks for any help it's greatly appreciated. Kind regards.

That is what I am reading and my questions are about the guide. As for as I saw the guide doesn't answer my questions but maybe I read wrong.

It may take a few reads through the guide for things to become clear :) It also helps to follow some of the monthly NVC threads so you can see what others are going through and that will help prepare you when your time comes.

1. Once your case is at NVC you will be able to provide them with an email address and they will send the DS-3032 via email. We also received a hard copy but email is the quicker way to go.

2. If you are replying via email don't worry about the bar code; follow the template from VJ ( http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form )

3. Exactly as written; even if you have sent a particular document with your I-130 petition, NVC will require another...no guarantee everything gets transferred with your file.

4. The beneficiary is required to sign the forms but they can then be forwarded to the USC spouse and mailed to NVC from the US.

Hopes this helps. Good luck!

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

here's some mini-how-to, if you are using the online payment portal -

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221785-ds-3032-slowdown/page__view__findpost__p__3560467

fwiw, barcodes are generated on coversheets, at the payment portal, and not need to have barcode on the DS-3032.

Many ppl send in ascii text version of the DS-3032 as well, via email - see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
