So what about the homeless veterans? If we are all so memorable and stuff, why does the surviving have to live such a crappy life? The surviving do not HAVE to live "such a crappy life". I know lots of war "survivors" that have really good lives and families. We are using this holiday to honor those that died, for which homelessness is not a problem.

In fact as a veteran they can get a home mortgage with no money down. Free education. Get a grip.
