Hi everybody!

We still haven’t started the visa process, but we will soon- Yahuuuuuuuuuuuu.

I would like to know, if there is anyone that moved to the US to be with your spouse, and had to finish school there. I am currently a student here in Brazil, and I still have 2 years to graduate from College. My bf and I want to be together soon, so I will finish school in the US-Texas after we get married. I am just worried about how many credits I will be able to transfer, and I am also worried about the differences that I might face it regarding to school. Any experience/opinions?

Thanks!!

It will be up to the school you enroll in as to what courses are transferrable. It depends on the course description as well as the grade you received in the course. Some universities will only take a B or higher in a course for it to be transferred, others are more lenient. I suggest you get your transcripts translated (evaluated if necessary) then consult a counsellor at your school

Good luck
