Mabuhay po to everyone . Please enlighten me coz i'm confused . I am a Filipina ,divorce from a Japanese and have a 13 yr.old kid. I am engaged to a US citizen .We are having second thoughts of marrying here in Phillipines or do the fiancee visa.I just read if we do the fiancee visa i can't travel with my daughter at the same time if we approved . The child will be followed which is really bothered me because i can't leave here alone here. Plesae correct me if i am wronged. And if we do the CR1 is it possible that me and my child can travel at the same time.One thing more do i need a permisssion to my ex husband for my child's petition .Thank you very mych for all who can share their inputs .God Bless us all...

March 2009 = Saw each other again after 17 yrs. (Philippines) (Two old friends meet again ,wearin' older faces talk about the places they've been... sing )

September 2009 = Engaged / Proposed in person (Philippines)

Nov 30, 2010 = Sent I-129F

Dec 02, 2011 = USCIS received

Dec 06, 2011 = NOA

Dec 09,2011 = Touched

May 06, 2011 =NOA2

DOS

May 16 = NVC rceived

May 17 = NVC left

May 20 = USEM received (tracked thru DHL)

May 24 = Jap PC applied ( 7 weeks )

June 1 = Case entered to USEM system

June 21-23 = SLMEC/Passed

July 8 = Interview / Approved

July 13 = Jap PC picked up / sent to USEM (07/15 = Jap PC delivered to USEM) ( 07/29 = Visa printed )

May 15, 2017: NOA1 
June 05, 2017: Biometric Done
June 19, 2017: Case is in Line for an Interview
June 25, 2018: USCIS Scheduled an Interview
Aug. 02, 2018: Interview Date- APPROVED!
Aug. 09, 2018: Oath Ceremony

hi sis,thanks for the sharing . yes kalalabas nga lang decision ng court so ready na kami pakasal.

pwede ko ba sya masama kahit na fiance visa ba ? or you're talking about CR1 ? kasi may nabasa ko pag fiance visa mauna yung spouse to follow na lang ang kid ,correct me na lang if im wrong .

with a K-1, your child will be able to travel with you as a k-2.(but can follow up to a year later without petitioning)..If I read the guides right... you do the CR-1 you would have to file another petition for your daughter as a CR-2.

Removal of conditions Journey

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

So my understanding was wrong pala/ I thought if K1 my daughter can't travel with me at the same time .

They will be a derivative of the original K-1. You can choose to have them follow later, but they can come at the same time as you.
