Of course it was planned, its a blockade after all. But its obvious the IDF weren't expecting to get into a tumble like they did on that ship, otherwise their commander was severely incompetent for sending them in such a defenseless manner.

If JFK had not began the confrontation in Eastern Turkey, then in all likelihood, neither would have the confrontation in Cuba. By the way, we now know that Soviets had operational tactical nukes available in Cuba, and was willing to use those had the US landed troops.

Which means what? Hamas can get all the weapons and supplies they need through underground tunnels. What right then does Israel have to keep a civilian population under a state of siege and refuse aid imports that aren't on their terms? Food aid and building materials are "contraband", how on earth can anyone justify that?

I'm not disagreeing with you on this, but its funny how the world seems to turn a blind eye to Hamas. In fact,no one in this thread has even bothered to mention that Hamas attacked Israeli towns this weekend.
