Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... *!

This 5 am stuff is for the birds. Well, actually its not. I'm up BEFORE the birds.

I think if I had dumped money down for a lawyer and had him something that utterly unprofessional, I would have smacked him. What about ETHICS. Sheesh.

I hear it's raining here. I work in the lower level of a huge building and no clue. LOL There's that groundhog theme again.

Hey... I wonder why Amy isn't around. *cough cough*

howdy folks!!! it's a lovely tuesday afternoon here in looziana (hot as hades tho!) - so i called nvc this morning to see if our petition was recieved... lo & behold, it was!!! they said no interview date set yet, but they did give me our case # and said to call back anytime, they could pull it up there easily :innocent: the lady was soooo nice! :star: so, i'll call again in a couple of days to see if it's been sent to casa yet... :dance:

Oct 5, 2006 - Interview SUCCESS

Oct 12, 2006 - Called to pick up visa tomorrow!

Oct. 16, 2006 VISA IN HAND!

Dec. 24, 2006 - Said arrives in NOLA, just in time for the holidaze!

Dec. 31, 2006 - OUR WEDDING!!! Ringing in a New Year as husband & wife!

Jan 8, 2007 - applied for SSN

Jan 15, 2007 - recieved SSN

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

April 19, 07 - EAD approved

I had better days... Ladies, I'm tired of this. I can't take this anymore. Wherever I call they keep saying you have to wait. God how long more.... I've been waiting for 16 months now... Please please let it go to the consulate... Oh God, I know his name has a false hit. I can't think of anything else. Please clear his name. let us be together.... :crying::crying:

Please pray for us... I've been praying soooooo much... Like someone else said last week, my prayers work for others but not for me....

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

12/5/11 mailed packet for Naturalization

12/9/11 was received by USCIS.

4/6/12 received letter for fingerprint appn.

4/23/12 9am fingerprint appointment - done :-)

4/30/12 Recieved Letter for Interview - Sche. 5/31

5/31/12 Interview & Testing

5/31/12 Testing Approved - Waiting for next step

6/21/12 Rcvd email, placed application in the oath sched. que :-)

6/25/12 Rcvd letter - Oath Ceremony is on 7/11/12 @ 9:15am :-)

It's been 15 months since I last was with Mohammed and I so feel your pain and frustration. You're in my prayers too. Hopefully things will move for both of us soon. (F)

Are you talking about that it was recieved at NVC or the embassy? because you don't get an interview date until after the case is shipped to the embassy and packet 3 is sent out.

Are you talking about that it was recieved at NVC or the embassy? because you don't get an interview date until after the case is shipped to the embassy and packet 3 is sent out.

Yeah you will get the date from Casa not the NVC.

Yeah you will get the date from Casa not the NVC.

that's what i thought... but the lady offered the info w/o me asking. she said "no interview date yet" which confused me a little, but i just said "ok, do you have our case #?" and she gave me that too. i called again this afternoon to another # and found out it's still there, it was sent from uscis on july 26 (i got noa2 july 31). the nice guy said they should have it a few more days and send it out. so, i'll hold out on calling again til thursday or friday :P
