Hongkong Police Clearance -Please Help!!!

Hi again. Does anyone rember how many days it took to have the HK police clearance certificate mailed to the consulate? Marie ordered hers 7-7-2010 after receiving her packet 4,But her interview is 7-26-2010? Will it arrive in time?

oh....i reda your timeline and it says you were denied...im so sorry about that but would u mind sharing? and i thought u were a filipina..but your consulate is HONGKONG? sorry, i was confused

Hello miylee8...yes, they will entertain you provided you have the copy of your NOA2 and you have your MNL number with you. Tell the guard that you are requesting for a letter from the consul for you HK police clearance, they will lead you to the immigrant division, window X. and oh, don't forget to bring your passport.....

My fiancee's visa application has been approved for the second time. It has come back and left the USCIS again. But after her first visa application suspension she had to move from Hong Kong to Maccu,China. Does any one know if she will need to get a new police clearance certificate from Maccu?

i had to do it and u need a letter from embassy stating you need cncc,i went to embassy in manila and gave me a letter,then mailed with all the proper finger prints,etc. you need to go to hong kong cncc web site and they tell you all docs u need and mail 180 hong kong dollars[when i did it] it could be more now,i mailed a money order from an american bank but it was taking too long for cheak to clear so i had a friend in hong kong go to the wanchai polce station cncc office and she paid in hong kong dollar for me and they gave her my money order back,then they sent police clearance to manila 4 days later,but i had to call manila post office to track it and make sure it got to embassy,then embassy didnt have it at my interview and i had to call ms.denise in embassy and she found it in there mail room!!! so make sure they have it before your interview,you can call hong kong police station cncc [officer in charge ms.winnie lee]to also track progress in hong kong,u need to stay on top of it all!!!! mine was 6 weeks in all but american money order held it up good luck

my Wife is now at this point were you have been, My wife still live and work in Hong Kong and needs to apply now for her HK police clearance and got a RFE for not having the HK police clearance inside the IV Package with the DS-230, I told them HK don't issue the Police reports to people, but they must apply after formal request from the US Consulate!

1) Did you have to wait for the letter from US Consulate? or formal request from NVC?

2) Can my Filipino wife go to the US Consulate IN HONG KONG and and ask for a letter stating she need CNCC for her US visa application?

I'm so confused..

NVC is really out dated when it comes to petitions filed in Hong kong, I mean: they told me on Friday that they will file a report so they can verify that Kong Kong doesn't give anyone a Certificate of No-Criminal Conviction (CNCC) in there hands to mail to NVC, but send it directly to the US consular office :wacko:NVC should already know this info.

Therefore I'm just trying to get information from people that Ive searched on VJ that actually went trough this process only in Hong Kong!
