Normally the federal district hold is the place where it is held. Try going on their web page and look for citizenship ceremonies. That's how I found out where ours are held but there is absolutely no information on the webpage...

Best way if you pass your interview is to ask your officer regarding their oath policies, can even request for a same day oath. More than likely be told, we don't do that here, but at least you know for sure.

St. Paul is notorious for long waits letting the list of applicants to hit a number like 3,500 for one big celebration, when in reality, the other 3,499 really don't care if you get your certificate or not, only you, your family, and friends care, and especially them because your entire life is in a twilight zone of uncertainly until that stage is completed. And if you are from Wisconsin, not a good idea to wear a Packers Jacket if it is held in the Viking stadium. Actually not a good idea to wear a Packers jacket anywhere in Minnesota.

I just contacted my senator, since he is on the finance board for the USCIS, has a little pull and set of a field office oath ceremony for my wife and a few other Wisconsinites. You already read and signed the oath and there is a debate whether the supervisor approved you or the job your IO did, but if your IO didn't do the job, you still end up paying the price, like supplying additional evidence you may have even had with you, but your IO failed to ask for it. Just a minor point, make sure you have all the required evidence both in the M-476 manual and the N-400 instructions and insist your IO look at it.

Was chatting with a woman outside of the office during her break, she worked in the filing section, said it was a huge mess keeping all those applications open until the oath ceremony ended, then the same process all over again. Would think all the offices would have a same day oath so they can close your file and save a lot of extra work. But that policy is up to the manager of the office.

Could move to an area that does have same day oaths, thought about that too. Can't plan anything until that oath is completed, very short warning, and if you don't show up, can wait another nine months.
