My point exactly. If the thread isn't active, it gets lost in the abyss of OT threads. Whereas, if there were a sub-forum, these games would be more accessible.

If the games were popular, they'd survive....there are not enough games to warrant a whole forum full.

Imo, of course.

Yeah, except for we have new members join all the time. Maybe games get lost in the shuffle of "New Content". But because there's no central place for the games, newbies aren't aware of them unless there have been recent posts to them.

In the new board arrangement, this forum is practically buried.

As the consular phase of the visa proces is probably the most important, I think this forum should be relocated to a more prominent position.

Just my 2p.

I will see you one day again, my love.

This isn't a gaming forum...OT is 'extra' to what is germane to this site.

Noobs can figure out how to navigate OT. It's not like it's gonna be all 'oh noes! where are the games cos the noobs can't find em!' crisis of 2010...

** JohnnyQuest's separate topic merged - JQ is referring to the US Embassy & Consulate Discussion Forum. (Thread by GJen also merged)

Otto if you don't mind, I put it at the top so it would be seen.

It is very likely that Ewok is subscribed to this topic - hence he's asking for ideas/suggestions.

Since his first sentence in the thread says "I want to take a few moments".................I'm sort of thinking not.

Just trying to help out.

I'm thinking that merging threads in this forum is a bit redundant. Must not be enough action out in the other forums.

Is there a point to this back and forth?

Was there a point to you moving my question to Ewok? Was there a point to you merging GJen's thread?

Please don't tell me we aren't allowed to object to your actions.

I'm aware this isn't a "Gaming Forum". I'm also aware this isn't a web site for news articles. Yet those appear in OT as well. I'm simply requesting that a little organization be brought to OT like it is in every other part of VisaJourney. Think about it this way, since you are so above the idea of people playing games on message boards, with a sub-forum specifically for games, you would be able to easily avoid them.

To add to JohnnyQuest's 2p

Am not sure where exactly the Consulate & USCIS Service Center Discussion Forum (consular phase) should be - but it is kind of down the beaten path (now jumping over the new non-family visa forum).

I think it is now "logically" in place, but maybe not functionally in place compared to how it was before. Thoughts? Maybe a consulate thread in both visa category forums (overkill?).
