Smolyan. The bear that is supposed to have killed 65-year-old Nikola Shikov on Monday, has been shot dead in the region of Kutela village /South Bulgaria/, the press office of the Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water – Smolyan announced.

The paw-prints found close to the crime spot are the same size as the paws of the bear killed on Thursday.

Authorities think it is possible that the dead bear had a child and thus the area is closed off for search.

Focus News Agency reminds:

A bear has killed a man in the Smolyan village of Kutela, director of the District Directorate of Interior – Smolyan commissary Kiril Hadzhihristev announced on May 17. The incident occurred in the afternoon. The man is at the age of 65 from the same village. Director of the Ministry of Interior was explicit that the cause of death of the man is an attack by a bear. Bloody traces had been tracked and monitored to the lair of the bear.

There are police and representatives of the Regional Inspectorate for the Protection and Control of Public Health (RIOKOZ) - Smolyan and State Forestry – Smolyan at the scene.

That's what I call sticking to the bare facts.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
