Hey All,

We got an E-mail from Montreal late yesterday and my son has his IR-2 interview scheduled for July 29th. I have a couple of questions, if anybody could help, it would be appreciated. Here is a list of the documents that They either want/have or don't need.

Document Name Document Status

CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS C

IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION S

DS-230-II F

PASSPORT Y

BIRTH CERTIFICATE S

ADOPTION F

MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE F

MARRIAGE TERMINATION F

COURT RECORDS F

FINANCIAL EVIDENCE S

CUSTODY PAPERS S

MILITARY RECORDS F

CANADA POLICE CERTIFICATE F

FEE PAYMENT $

PHOTOGRAPH S

PETITIONER MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE F

PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE F

C = Direct inquiries to your consulate / embassy

1) What are the Correspondence Instructions listed first in their document list?

2) Someone mentioned to me that there was some sort of fee I need to pay at a Scotia Bank and that I need to bring some sort of receipt from the Bank. I see no mention of this anywhere. Does anybody know if there is something I need to pay at a Scotia Bank?

I'm sure I'll have more questions, or maybe this is now the simple part of the process. Thanks to everyone here for your previous help. I'll keep you posted on how things go. Now, off to see about arranging for a medical.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Congratulations. No fee to pay, that is only for K visa applicants. As mentioned, the correspondence instructions are just the letter you have received, get the medical etc.

This is the simple part of the process - remember to also get the extra large expresspost envelope :)

That's all you need for the interview, envelope, medical, interview letter. Also if you filled out the I-864 before you filed your 2009 taxes, you will want to take a copy of those as well, just in case they ask to see it.
