Perhaps a stupid question, but I just want to be sure.....

I know the instructions say make check/money order payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security. My husband and I disagree on the address part. I think that all that needs to be filled out is the Pay to part and no address. My husband thinks for the address we would have to write down the service center's address.

Please help us out here, who is right and who is wrong?

It is highly recommended you send in a personal check. You can keep it for your records as well as it could clear faster than receiving your NOA which is an indication that they received your package.

As for your question, no the address doesn't go on the check. Only "U.S Department of Homeland Security"

Also, make sure the amount is correct (which is the app fee + biometrics).

Sign it and write in the memo field your A# and Form I-751 in case it gets separated from your package.
