That sidewalk is not "private premises", but public. Like I said your disrespectful and un-American! Not very smart...

Then perhaps you won't mind if I clamber up the side of your house, cut down your flag and take it away.

So.... it's disrespectful and Un-american to steal someone else's property for the purposes of a stunt for TV cameras? Get real

If the shop owner wants to show respect and pride for his country fine, however, equal respect should be shown to the American flag. If they wish only to fly their country's flag over the US flag, well then I suggest they return to their country. If they wish to only fly their country's flag, well then I suggest they return to their country. They must realize that they have made America their home, and therefore must submit to the country's rules. It is fine if they do not want to show American pride, but they should not by all means show disrespect. Simply they either display both flags with the US flag on top or no flag at all.

U.S. Flag Code, "No person shall display the flag of the United Nations or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in position of superior prominence or honor to, or IN PLACE OF, the flag of the United States at any place within the United States or an territory or possession" I'm wondering what you would do if I was flying the flag of a communist country over the top of a US flag, I doubt anything at all. That's the problem with people like you! Un-American.

It amazes me how petty some of you "real Americans" can be. Perhaps like the guy in the video getting outraged about a flag on top of a local store is a worthwhile use of time becuase like this "veteran" you aren't qualified to hold a real job. Get real.

I bet the only reason this guy saw the flag inthe first place is because he was on his way to the liquor store for a couple of six packs.

I think thats a bit uncalled for. Its not "illegal" to break the flag ordinance etc. and yes that was theft of property but I think we can all cut the Vet some slack for taking it.

Say, i think i've an idea for where to live!

Buy me one of those good 'ol Chinese flags, move into an illegal immigrant neighborhood, and while all those idiots are waving around their petty Mexican flags on top of their houses, ill have my big red right on top, stickin' it to the man. Take that Calderón.

We have freedom of speech and I respect that. There are laws against theft and there should be laws against disrespecting the US Flag.

But your statement is offensive to me and most likely any other veteran and or "Real United Stated Citizen"; which you must not be either.

If this is truly your believe then maybe you should reconsider where you would like to live; just an option.

Oh and in regard to veteran's holding a real job if they are unable to do so then they are worthy of our welfare support if needed not Illegal aliens, immigrants who refuse to respect the American Flag, USC who never served but are to lazy or think the populace owes them.

It sure is. Especially when one considers that somewhere in the range of 40% of today's illegal alien population arrived here legally and just failed to leave. The great big wall isn't going to fix that. The great big wall is really nothing but political grandstanding to show that we're willing to "do something".

As was said earlier in this thread, go after the source of the problem, the economic incentive - i.e. the employers and exploiters of illegal labor - and the symptoms will pretty much treat themselves.

Exactly.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
