Timeline

I just sent IV package and AOS to NVC via email. Can somebody tell me do I need send the original I864 form to my wife. or one copy is ok?

I mean does my wife need to bring the original I864 to the interview?

02/23/2010-----sent i130 to uscis

03/05/2010-----NOA1

03/25/2010-----NOA2

05/03/2010-----NVC Received

05/05/2010-----got Case# and sent OPTIN For EP

05/07/2010-----paid AOS bill

05/11/2010-----show AOS paid

05/21/2010-----Paid IV bill

05/25/2010-----Received GZO#, show IV paid& send I864,DS230 via email

06/25/2010-----SIF,received email from NVC CC

08/10/2010-----interview in Guangzhou approved !!

09/xx/2010-----Enter U.S.A at JFK

You should of send the original I-864 to NVC and a copy to your wife to take with her to the interview. Also make sure she has your 2009 return and w-2 to take with her to the interview.

NVC - Taking my time with it...

4/8/2010 - got NVC case # & gave them email address (~ 1 week)

4/13/2010 - Choice of Agent email from NVC (~ 5 days)

4/14/2010 - Email sent to NVC with "Choice of Agent

4/19/2010 - NVC email confirming "Choice of Agent" email (~5 days)

4/20/2010 - NVC email with AOS and IV bill

4/23/2010 - AOS fee paid & package send

4/26/2010 - IV fee paid

5/21/2010 - IV pack mailed to NVC

5/28/2010 - NVC received IV packet

6/10/2010 - SIF & RFE (for PCC different for Sir Lanka)

6/11/2010 - CC (with RFE)

She'll need originals. Also originals on the DS-230 'pack', as well (that's coming up soonish for you )

Did you get converted, have a GZO # ? If not, resend the email(s) after you have GZO #.

Having a GZO # is 'flag' that the opt in was accepted.

If you need DOS clarification on 'originals on interview day' - have a read?

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
