NOA1, wife's middle name

Hi Everyone,

So I have been brooding about this since I noticed it. In my initial excite of having received the NOA1, I did not check it very well. Now, although everything is correct, my wife's middle name is not on it. Should I be concerned and call USCIS to send a new NOA1 or should I let sleeping dogs lie since they have her first and last name spelled correctly?

All suggestions will be appreciated.

I would definitely get in contact with USCIS and correct the mistake before you get a RFE! ASAP!

Exactly what I was afraid of. I will be moving at the end of next month and not wanting to risk another long nOA1, I was toying with leaving it, since they have her first and last name but have left off her middle name. How hard really is it for someone to type word for word? Huh...

Maybe they will update it for you, try to talk to a supervisor if you can! Good luck!

I wish you the best of luck!!!!!!! My NOA1 was incorrect when I received it on March 4th. I have yet to get a corrected version. They left off some of my names (The USC) and my husband's names (foreign So). Hopefully you won't get stuck like I have been.

holy #######. I just checked my wife's NOA1 and I dont see her middle name either. I am not going to call them though. If i get hit with an RFE, I guess i will deal with it then. I dont want to get into the hassle that Teya is going through.

That better not change. I think it is just delaying the process for us though. Lets hope we get it within the 3-4 month time frame and not the 6month processing time.

Thanks for your response and help. I called USCIS this morning dreading the result of my call. I spoke with one of CSR and she was very helpful. I mentioned to her that my wife's middle name was not on the NOA1 and I want to make sure they have it right before I receive an RFE. She gave me the usual, "I will send a service request" schpiel and that it will take 45 days for them to get back to me.

Well I will be darned if I did not receive an email from CSC four hours later (called at 8am received email at 12:12 pm)and this was what was stated in the email:

So Johndoe and others, I hope this allays your fears. Apparently they do not bother to list the full name on the NOA1. I really appreciated the promptness with which they responded.

Why they would let me sit here and go through this for almost 3 months now but they took all of 1/2 of a day to tell you not to worry (maybe because I bugged them so much....they decided to simplify the process), beats me. Hopefully they will get on with yours and John's cases. My case on the other hand, was missing our last names as well...not just middle names.

Sorry about that. I pray that your issue will be resolved soon. Well, this was a simple process. I was dreading the 45 days wait period. However, it appears they quickly looked into the case and said oh, we have all the info in the database. I was very relieved. I will continue to pray for you.
