Can anyone give me information on how to bring my fiance's 18yr old son to the U.S? He was on the K-1 petiton but did not want to come with his mother at the time. Since he stayed in China what does he have to do now to come here? Do we have to do anything or is it all up to him since he is now 18. My fiance is worrying...please help if you can! Thanks.....Jeff

How long has it been since your now-wife's approved K1?

Did you marry before the son was 18?

She got her approval in March and came here in April. Her son turned 18 on Jun 12 and we were married on Jun 26th.

K-2 follow to join for up to one year after the I-1 is issued.... otherwise she will need to petition after she becomes a resident and it will be many years

YMMV
