So my husband applied for AOS, EAD and AP at the end of March. We recieved a request for evidence because we didnt mail the current tax returns for my household members (they hadn't done their taxes yet) so we mailed in the evidence that was listed on the RFE and recieved an update that it had been recieved. Now a couple weeks later our case had been updated so we excitedly got on USCIS.gov to see what it was and it says that our case has been sent to the California Service Center and its back in the Initial Review stage :( So I'm wondering, is this normal? Has this happened to anyone? BTW, we live in New Mexico and he's from Mexico.

Also there has been no update to his AP since they recieved it almost 2 months ago and we really need to get to Mexico so he can turn in and present his thesis so he can graduate. Has anyone been denied EAD? Could there be a RFE? Should we be worried? :crying:

Thanks for any response and goodluck to all! :star:
