Good for you! I'm sure we'll see a big "approved" post from you soon. I don't think we have any red flags either. I've been going over our relationship with a fine tooth comb though to be sure.

and I will be there till my CC and SIF..Got RFE missing or Incomplete documents for DS-230 as we sent packet IV and I-864 separately, called NVC and they replied once processing of DS-230 will be completed AVR updates will change automatically.so waiting for that day to come soon without any RFE :)

Hey looks like I will still be around for the JULY NVC thread.

This waiting is taking a toll on me mentally and physically.

I finally called my congressman's office again yesterday. I think they helped us through USCIS after 5 months there. In a town as small as ours, the office had just helped another couple from Jordan, so she was able to tell me the embassy was busy. But they called and emailed for the other couple and although the office couldn't get the couple in for June as they needed, they got in for July.

I told her July would be great if she could do it, but just knowing what is going on helps. I think it will be August for us. So I am trying to deal with that and tell myself, hey at least tickets are a little cheaper. :)

The representative in the office was pulling our file and sending emails to the embassy and NVC after we spoke. I hope to hear something from her early next week.

Just knowing what's really going on helps. One NVC operator said it was full one said it wasn't. You don't know what to believe. And when I emailed the embassy to ask if they were busy, they replied "we do not have your case file yet from NVC." How stupid! At least now I know something, even it wasn't news of a July interview!

i know what you mean! they all say different things. and then they have the rehearsed lines of info that they say to you that you already know about.

i hope the congressman helps!!!

turns out one of my coworkers used to work in an office with the current immigration workers for my area!!! he told me this a few weeks ago but it was too late. we are already at the end of all this. so it didn't help to have that connection. haha. oh well. wish he had told me 8 months ago!!! :P

not too much action here this week?

We're waiting for the IV bill to show paid. It will probably take till tuesday since he paid it this thursday though. Ugh...

And he didn'd send the AoS stuff because he wasn't sure if he needed the IV receipt in the package too. :(

So much for me being gone for 3 days to another country...

Hopefully the coming week, everything is on the way to NVC.

Alles wird gut und wenn es noch nicht gut ist, ist es noch nicht vorbei.

Does the AVR update to say that your case has been mailed to the local consulate?

Or is that a piece of information you can only get from speaking to an operator?

I think your time line is a little off....I hope you can get an August interview. There is no chance of that for me. November at this point would be stellar!

Does the AVR update to say that your case has been mailed to the local consulate?

Or is that a piece of information you can only get from speaking to an operator?

the AVR will update to say what date it was forwarded after it's been forwarded.

you can call an operator everyday and ask if they have sent it out yet. they will only tell you it has been sent out after the AVR is updated.

but they will say VERY VERY SOON if it is going to get sent out that day or the next. they will never say the actual day it's sent to avoid problems.
