I front loaded my I-130 with notarized letters from family and friends. I don't think they have to be done that way but that's what I did.

Ergh - and there is the news kids...

Apparently I have been RFE'd for a Police Certificate.

Which I've already paid my AU$140 for AND sent the original AND a copy to NVC with my packet.

I will have to give them a call though and discuss because the RFE Checklist they sent doesn't even include instructions for the State that I live in...

WHHHHY NVC.... WHHHHYYYY? :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Oh thank god...

Called NVC on the crack of opening time - and got an operator immediately...

Turns out that my case was completed on 10th of June... and that this "checklist" is because my police certificate was meant to go to the US Consulate in Sydney, not to NVC? (WEIRD)

Anyway... I'm sighing relief now because my case (Operator AND AVR Updated) is completed.

I'm guessing my SIF doesn't happen until my visa becomes available though... :blink:

Oh wow I just called NVC my interview date is July 15th at 8:00am she said I would get the email later today or Monday.

I don't know the answer, but at least you are done with the paperwork for NVC!

I'm with you--come on NVC! They've had alot of action this weekend but some of us are still waiting. I have a feeling I'll be waiting until next round though because of my embassy...

Since we didn't hear anything all week until Friday, I'm guessing today and the next couple days should be chalk full of interviews and even CC.
