No one has a date this week?

Does anyone think that one operator could be right and they will schedule next week?

I really don't know WHAT to think but if no one hears anything tomorrow, then I think it will be next week.

Hey thanks for the information, we are trying to be patient, but the imcompetence is just amazing, they can´t even see if somebody has it, its a total joke, and as I said, its called Customer Service, at least you had somebody nice to explaing you the situation, I mean its difficult to get an agent that will help you, its frustrating

Thanks for your support, we are trying our best not to loose it. God bless :(

So, meant2b2009 now you are happy? :) i tld you you'll get your SIF :)

Yes, we are sooo happy!!!! Thank you for your kind words of support. It really means so much during this time.

You know, my husband and I have been calling the NVC every single day since May 24th when our paperwork arrived in their mailroom.

My husband would make his round of calls starting early morning and into the afternoon. Then wait for me to come home from work and we would do our nightly conference calls together. We must have spoken with almost all of their staff including Supervisors. Sophia, Anna, Jackie, Julie, Brad, Adam, Ethan, Dot, to mention a few that we can remember off the top of our heads. That is by NO MEANS a shout out to them, since all of them gave us different information and were extremely discouraging. They told us that my AOS was never received, and that we would never make July interviews.

When my AOS was in fact received on June 2nd!! Of course, we found that out tonight since our case is now closed tonight!!!

Sign in fail! something that all of the operators told us was impossible. Well, what do they know. that just goes to show you not to trust most of what they tell you. Even though they have a system, it is run by human beings who could forget to push a number, or scan a document, or sign in a binder, and then you would never know until the case was complete... which is what happened with my husband and I. This site has been so amazing. My husband and i went through timelines to come up with a formula and I put together an ideal "Production Schedule" for our case based on the avg. number of days people have been going through the nvc.

A worst case scenario and a best case scenario, and the best case happened, despite what the representatives were telling us. ******So please everyone, know this, continue to move ahead in your case with FAITH and believe that if you prepared everything as best as you can, that you will be fine, that time is on YOUR side, believe it and it will happen.

When they see organization and paperwork that is accurate and organized, it will help them to go through it quickly.

Trust me , they want to go through it as quickly as they can!!

Thank you to everyone who has helped us in moving through this process quickly by answering our questions.

and we are here to help anyone who has questions as well..

We are still waiting for our interview date., to be scheduled... yes yes, I know, I talk a lot, but it's a great day to celebrate, woohoo!!!!!!!:P:D

I really don't know WHAT to think but if no one hears anything tomorrow, then I think it will be next week.

To help you out, my husband and I spoke with a very informative NVC representative today. They told us that because the 1st wk in June was not a full wk, because it started on a tuesday instead of a monday, that they started scheduling July interviews on Monday June 4th and will continue through Friday, June 18th! So the cut-off for July interviews is actually Friday, June 18th, not Friday June 11th all because the 1st wk of the month started on a tuesday, lucky us!!!!!

So everyone, please know that, it is terrific news for us all!!!!

Hi MirNaaz,

You should receive an SIF early next wk if not tomorrow. Usually, the average number of business days they have been reviewing documents is 7. So you should receive an SIF tomorrow or early next wk. Also, another thing on our side, they are scheduling July interviews up through June 18th! normally, the cut-off would have been June 11th, this coming Friday, BUT, because the first week of June started on a tuesday, they did not start scheduling until June 4th. Since that week was a full week, according to the last representative we spoke with at the NVC. So even if you receive a SIF next wk, you still could make it into the July Interviews!!

Keep the faith, continue to put positive thoughts out there, and remember, you have come this far, you can see the finish line in this crazy marathon we have all been running,,,, you will be together soon, and it is all WORTH IT!!!

I think the cut-off to get a date scheduled this month was June 4th... but I am not sure. I know I read that on here.

We had CC on May 11 and still are not scheduled.

Thanks so much. This is really trying my nerves right now. I am so worried about getting the time off work to go. And the less notice we have, the harder it will be for me to do it. So many vacations already on the calendar there!

And I really want to go in July because it will be hard to be in Jordan in August or September if it its during Ramadan.

Off to work and trying not to think right now! Check in this evening!

O.K. I feel a little better, talk to an operator and she said they are requesting the PCC for Sri Lanka, but since that can only be requested by the embassy itself they are still going to move forward with the case and for me to ignore the email.

Try to tell them I included the memo from the embassy with the PCC info but they didn't want to hear it. She said it is in final processing and try back Monday hopefully I will have a CC by then.

The AVR now states that my case is complete. What happens next? Do I get some sort of email from the NVC or do I just wait until I receive an interview. Geez it is going to be a long 3 weeks of waiting unless there is a miracle and I get a July interview.
