i am trying to fill out a i-864 form for my now husband who came on a k-1 visa however the confusion i am running into is that since i have been a full time student, (never been employed) I dont know how to show that on this form. specifically on part 6 it says unemployed since ______ if i hav never worked, should I write any date or just write full time student?

in 24 i will write my mother as income im ussing from other person in household (she is a joint sponsor) but do i leave teh next section #26 federal income tax return info blank?

If you have never been employed, then I would be tempted to put my birthdate down as the unemployed line... else "Never employed" Thinking about it, the second seems to be a clear-er answer.

for the section (#25???) about federal income tax, yes, you would leave it blank. Attach a cover letter which states that you have earned no money, and therefore not needed to file taxes. Has your mother been claiming you as a dependent? Her taxes showing this will back you up.

section 26 is on assets. If you have none, leave it blank. That's what the (Optional) means.
