Hi... we received our biometrics appointment but no noa1.. however i did get the date they received it... i went to uscis site to update the portfolio and it says" CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED ".. but the other applications said i129, i485 and i765...why didn't it say i751 and petition to remove conditions of permanent resident... i have NEVER seen cr 189... did anyone else have that happen to them .. is that normal :unsure:

I believe that CR189 is just different lingo for I-751. I did some searches on this topic and found them used interchangably.

that's correct. I think someone said that the old form was called CR-I89.... who knows...

I am surprised that we still get confused with this irrational behavior by USCIS :P

FYI, it's not CR"1"89, it's CR"I"89wink.gif

From what I understand. The CR means Conditional Resident and the I-89 is a form that USCIS uses to request the manufacture of the GreenCard.

my mistake about the 189 :bonk: ...it did look like a 1 to me at first.. immigration is trying to give me a heart attack or something... biometrics letter first, no noa1, driving to atlanta for a passport stamp... and dmv doesn't know ANYTHING about that one... they would have used the 797 though... i need a drink right about now... wait, what were we talking about :lol: wake me when it is totally over... i love amusement rides but this ride i can't take :no: thanks for the responses :thumbs:

In the bottom paragraph of NOA1, it clearly says "the I-751 form will be listed as CRI89 under application type in our case status online tool"

But since you didn't get NOA1, you're excused :D
