I get your point, but that government does not support religious tolerance.

For the record I don't think we should block the mosque from being built near ground zero. Even though radical and moderate Muslims will worship there. But the moderates should grow a thicker skin and not be surprised that the mosque might be an insensitive gesture to some people.

Doubtful. And blanket derogatory comments about Islam don't exactly do much to inspire a reasonable dialogue.
