Hello Everyone,

I just filed my I-130 on May 14. Got my my first NOA1 in the mail on Monday with a notice date of May 19, 2010. I try to check on my case and register online at the USCIS.gov website, but it will not pull up my case. It gives me this error:

Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283

I Called them and was told that it should be up by now. I was then transferred to a person who had more access to docs and was told it is going to take a couple of weeks to come up on the website, and that the case was in the system.

So just wanted to see how long it might be before im able to set up my case status online and be able to check the progress of it

Thanks...

There is no set rule to this...all you can do is keep trying to see if it is online. FWIW, that site is pretty unreliable...it is hit or miss when you get updates on there. I had an RFE that I didnt know about until I called the military helpline (I was deployed at the time)
