K1 Interview and previous TN Visa

Hello All,

Just wondering if I have had a previous TN visa do I need to provide proof of this application? Was just reading over the documents required for the K1 interview and it says

"IMMIGRATION RECORDS: If you previously applied to the US government for an immigration benefit (e.g. asylum, refugee protection, employment authorization, immigrant visa, or non-immigrant visa) provide documents regarding the application and its outcome.

Will by passport stamps and copy of the TN visa be sufficient? Anyone have to provide proof of this??

I would suspect that the passport stamps and visa are sufficient as they prove the outcome of the application.

It should also be disclosed on the consular forms where asked about previous visas.

Unless your TN Status was revoked for some reason. Then it might be a red flag and require additional explaining.

I had a previous TN and I provided a copy of the I-94 and stamp in my passport. I don't think it was brought up in my K1 interview. It was mentioned briefly in my AOS interview but it wasn't a big deal.

AOS

Feb 26 NOA1 for AOS/EAD/AP

May 1 EAD approved

May 11 AOS approved

May 24 EAD received

June 7 GC received
