Your brewer should maintain a water temperature between 195 - 205 degrees Fahrenheit for optimal extraction. Colder water will result in flat, underextracted coffee while water that is too hot will also cause a loss of quality in the taste of the coffee. If you are brewing the coffee manually, let the water come to a full boil, but do not overboil. Turn off the heat source and allow the water to rest a minute before pouring it over the grounds.

I never said it didn't brew at that temp, don't play semantics.

Your whole argument about that lawsuit was that it was served under temp. You were wrong. Which renders your argument invalid. End of.

Sure, just seems a little silly when you aren't will to act on your own advice, by example.

It's a credibility thing.

you and paul have something in common today - mistaking educating new users on site features for something more than it was intended for.

I just think its interesting that you couldn't resist replying, and a day after the initial comment was made. Sure the "I'll bite my tongue" thing was posted as bait, but I did it because I knew that you couldn't and wouldn't resist turning it into an exchange.

If you want to "educate" people (patronizing as that sounds) the fact that you aren't able to do it by example really undermines your credibility for any serious advice you want to give to new users.

maybe you should stop baiting people then, if you don't want them to reply?

all i was doing was making someone aware of the functions on vj. i was not directing him or her to put them on ignore. perhaps you should reread that post of mine to refresh your memory.
