Earlier Interview request at Islamabad

1) Did someone try to request an earlier interview date from Islamabad Embassy in Pakistan after the NVC has assigned an interview date?

2) And how did you proceed to do that?

3) At what point did you call or email embassy to request the interview date? AFter the packet was sent to embassy?

4) Via Email or Phone?

5) And what reason did you give to move it up to an earlier date?

Everyone would like things to move quicker. The is little chance that they will move the date up. You can request it but you probably got the first available date. If you get an earlier date you may expect to be placed in administrative review while they finish all the name checks which means waiting after the interview anyway. July isn't all that far away. You are almost done.

You can get early date, if you have any vaild reason to show. I got early date and I send them letter and mentioned my reason. Few days later they give me new date. Make sure you show them reason, without reason will not work.

don't try to rush things up like that u might end up screwing it, if u waited that long i would suggest u should wait for 2 more months 'till the interview. i know exactly how u feel trust me. even i'm like 2 month interview date after case completion.... but yeahhh that's how fast things run in our country so b patient. unless u have a very good reason to show them

it is usually the same for most embassies.

you can contact the embassy AFTER they have received your case forwarded to them by the NVC.

how you contact, email or phone, depends on what the website says.

most places will probably allow you to request by email.
