Hi All, Please help me. I'll try to get straight to the point here.

Our situation: Currently my Fiance is in Edmonton Canada, received prep. packet 3 last week. So he's collecting stuff for his interview and medical exam will be in Vancouver.

Question #1) Since he doesn't want to fly twice to Vancouver, how close can he schedule the medical exam with the interview? What's a good window frame in case some accidental delay occur? How long should he stay in Vancouver? -I may go with him, so we have to know this asap so we can plan it out.

My situation: Jobless for the past year, getting unemployment benefits right now, don't own a home or property. My only asset is a car. I will get joint sponsor either mom or dad.

Question #2) For line 7 on the form, do I put "Unemployed" as my engaged business? -still on 7, following is a series of questions about my bank account savings amount and property value, etc etc.., do I leave those all blank as the people from the other forum suggested? "so that they can hurry up and skip my form & focus on the joint sponsor's info?"

Please help me out. I'm not sure how the Vancouver Consulate will respond to blank spaces :P I mean I do have a bit of money in my savings but it is all under line 7 so it should be all left blank right?

Nobody had replied to my topic for help. I'm not sure what to do at this point. But there's a new update. I just got called for a possible temporary job position. I'm wondering if this could allow me to be enough for sponsoring my fiance over? Should I fill myself out as sponsor or still have my mom as joint anyway?

I hope someone could still help me with my first post.

Thanks,

Dot

I'm in the same situation! What did you wind up doing?

Hey Val & Sid: Nobody ever replied to me about that, so I will just improvise. Actually the packet sent to my Fiance clearly shows what to do, to call and set up appointments and what he need. However, my part about the support. I will just dig up whatever I can find.

I hope that helps you, I didn't get any help :D
