How long do I have to know my bf before marriage

Hello,

I was wondering If someone can help me out with this. I was looking online to find an answer but I could not find anything.

Im an F1 student and I was wondering If there is any kind of law what says you have to know your boyfriend for a certain amount of time before getting married. I live with my boyfriend now since 6 month and I have never been more happy in my live. We both talk often about getting married. Would there be any LEGAL issues when I apply for my greencard If we get married after only 6 Month? Does the USCIS wants proove that you know each other for a longer time?
